Hualien Pacific Landscape Park
Located along the coastal area of Downtown Hualien City behind the Tungtamen Night Market and bazaar area, the Pacific Landscape Park is great for sightseeing and walking while enjoying beautiful coastal and mountain scenery.
The park is divided into two sections: North (Beibin) and South (Nanbin) Seashore Park.
The parks have some small xiaochi snacks and vendors, however, most vendors in the city currently gather around the Tungtamen Night Market area.

Hualien Qixingtan Beach
Shaped like a crescent, Qixingtan Beach in Hualien is where the mountains meet the sea.
There are many sightseeing trails and beach pavilions, including a star-watching square. Star watching is a fun activity in Hualien since there is far less light pollution than other places such as downtown Hualien City or Taipei City.
Bicycling is a popular activity at Qixingtan, and many vendors offer bike rentals to visitors.
The most popular area of the beach is located at the Qixingtan Coast Park , located behind the Hualien Airport. In this market area, local merchants sell gifts and xiaochi snacks, and visitors can enjoy the stunning view with an occasional plane flying overhead. The Stone Carving Park and star-watching square are in this park area.

Dongdamen Night Market
Located in the re-zoned area of Hualien City Phase 6, the two horizontal and straight night market paths surrounding the Sungrow City include the Fuding Night Market, a street in each province, and a street for aboriginal people. With more than 400 stalls, starting from the summer of 2015, they have built a reputation for sightseeing in Hualien with a variety of exciting snacks, games and performance lineups. Sixty Stone Mountain
Sixty Stone mountain (aka Liushidan Mountain) is a beautiful flower and mountain landscape on the eastern flank of the eastern rift valley in Hualien County. The annual Daylily flower blooms and amazing views of the Eastern Rift Valley attract thousands of tourists each summer. Some of the picturesque and beautiful views anywhere in Taiwan can be seen from this mountain.

Taroko National Park
Taroko National Park is located in the three counties of Hualien, Taichung and Nantou. It is the fourth national park established in Taiwan. It was formerly known as the second high Taroko National Park (1937-1945) established during the Japanese Occupation. Its scope is dominated by the Liwu River Canyon, along the east-west cross highway and its surrounding mountainous areas, including Hehuan Group Peak, Qilai Mountain, Nanhu Central Jianshan Mountain, Qingshui Cliff, Liwu River Basin and Sanzhan River Basin, etc. It covers an area of 92,000 hectares.

Zhikaxuan Forest Park
"Zhikaxuan Forest Park" was originally named Nanpu Green Forest Park, covering an area of about 11 hectares. It used to be an air force base during the Japanese occupation period. It was re-planned and renovated. The main design style was fairy tales, combining the central plaza, wind vane plaza, native plant garden, aquatic plant garden, keel greenhouse, interesting dragonfly statue, children's play area and garden maze. Hualien Cultural and Creative Industries Park
The "Hualien Cultural and Creative Industries Park" is located in the center of Hualien City. It was originally an old Hualien winery set up in 1913. This 3.3-hectare space, covering 26 historical buildings, has a quiet and unique environment. After being transformed into a cultural and creative industry park in 1997 (2008), Huadong gradually established its status as a cultural and creative development and tourist attraction. After the Ministry of Culture took back the Hualien Cultural and Creative Park at the end of 2019, it began the transformation and activation work.

Danongdafu Forest Park
"DaNongDaFu Forest Park" is located in Guangfu Township, Hualien County, in the East Rift Valley of Hualian, with the Central Mountain Range and the Coastal Mountain Range on both sides. Going all the way south from the Rift Valley, you will reach the middle section, pass the chimney of the Hualien sugar factory, and then there is a large continuous forest. In the periphery of the forest, there is a history written by various ethnic groups. Taiwan is a beautiful island full of forests, but hundreds of years of development have brought the virgin forest out of the plains. Since the beginning of the 21st century, the Forestry Bureau has actively promoted afforestation on flat land. In ten years, Hualien people have owned the first flat land forest in the country, the DaNongDaFu Forest Park.

Mataian Wetland Ecological Park
Mataian Wetland has nearly 5 hectares of lotus planting area, which is the county flower of Hualien County planted and promoted by the Hualien County Farmers' Association 20 years ago. In addition, the park also has the "MaTaian Wetland Ecological Museum", which displays models of various ecological habitats to facilitate visitors to understand the wetland landscape; a restaurant with special aboriginal flavors, providing traditional food such as stone hot pot; and "MaTaian Literature and History Studio" promotes the revival of traditional handicrafts, allowing tourists to feast on the traditional style of the Amis.

Farglory Ocean Park
Farglory Ocean Park is located in Yanliao Village, Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, about 10 kilometers away from downtown Hualien. The transportation is very convenient. Hualien Tourism Sugar Factory
In 2002, due to the high cost of sugar production, the Hualien Sugar Factory had to stop production and shut down. Finally, it was transformed into "Hualien Tourist Sugar Factory" and was renamed "Hualien Tourist Sugar Factory". The park is planned to have a customer service center, a Japanese-style wooden building complex, an ice product sales department, and a specialty exhibition. There are shops, restaurants, bicycle rentals, Huatang Cultural Museum, etc. If you are planning a trip to Hualien, you may wish to visit it.
